The concept is inspired by the irregular woodcut patterns that the woodcut artists used to depict the landscape.

The program uses the unique beauty of woodcut patterns to imitate the undulating mountains, rippling water, and sometimes thousand-layer ravines, forests, and grasses in real time. The digital woodcut painting combines the elements of tradition and modernity, old and new, forming an image that is both familiar and unfamiliar. Music is generated according to the fluid image, forming a non-repetitive yet continuous nostalgic scenery of woodcut print. Additionally, the work had also developed into an interactive version, that the audiences can immerse themselves in the experience of virtual craftsmanship through the thickness, curvature, and variations of the lines
