Raindrops keep falling on my head Back

Raindrops keep falling on my head (The work can develop through real-time data or audience interactions)

I have enjoyed rainy days since my childhood. While making art using the program, I found out it can generate beautiful raindrops, which are visually resembling the scene of raindrops hitting the car window. When the raindrops slide through the window, they visually distort and deform the scenery outside the car, creating a unique picture. This kind of picture is usually addressed as “a world within the rain”, that gives out a soft, hazy, and romantic feeling. Through the raindrops, we can see the brilliant colors reflected from the streetlights, and also the blurry outline of the distant buildings.

The work generated raindrops through the program, and along with the exquisite music, they formed a real-time combination that further enhanced its diversity and variability. This work also develops a real-time interactive version for audience participation, bringing them the experience of a poetic and romantic rainy day.
