“Finding Season” Series

The movement of clouds inspired Cindy’s imagination of ink art. Similar to the clouds in reality, the computer-generated clouds are sometimes colorful and splendid(Finding Season and Floating Clouds), sometimes changing between condensed and scattered(Visual Migration Exhibition); accompanied by the impact of the music, it leads one to dive into the cognition and acquire heartfelt emotions.

The work “Visual Migration Exhibition” is the first digital work created by the team in 2019, in which the computer engineer Jiang Jun utilized the connection between the fluid mechanics and weather data to rebuild to conventional artistic style of the artist, bringing the viewers into a world made up of ink and light. The “Finding Season” and “Floating Clouds” have been re-developed for a second version based on the foundation of “Visual Migration Exhibition”; the greater amount of data can be integrated effectively, the program algorithms are more "intelligent", and even presenting a digital ink fluidity by bursting through the simulated image of ink. The visual changes stimulated Feng Yan to create sound accordingly, and together they formed arbitrary yet coordinated combinations, leading to a non-repetitive yet continuous artwork that is healing and generated in real time.
